Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how RealityPick ("we") handles personal data when you use our website, apps and services. It applies alongside our Terms of Service and Responsible Play rules.

2. Data we collect

Account data: username, email and/or phone number, password (stored as a salted hash), country, language, date of birth where the age gate requires it.

Verification (KYC) data: when verification is required, the identity details and document information you submit.

Activity data: predictions, game rounds, jackpot entries, wallet and ledger transactions, referral activity, notifications and support conversations.

Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and a device identifier — used for security, fraud prevention and session management.

Payment data: deposit and withdrawal references from our payment providers. We never store full card numbers.

3. Why we use it

To run the Service: accounts, wallets, predictions, settlement, leaderboards and support.

To keep play fair and lawful: age and geography checks, KYC, fraud and multi-account detection, responsible-play limits, and the audit trail our double-entry ledger requires.

To communicate: transactional email/SMS (verification codes, receipts, settlement notices) always; marketing messages only with your consent, which you can withdraw with one tap.

To improve the product: aggregated, de-identified analytics about how features are used.

4. Sharing

We share data only with: payment providers (to process your deposits and withdrawals), identity-verification providers (when KYC applies), messaging providers (to deliver email/SMS you request), and authorities where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data. Public surfaces (leaderboards, activity feed) show only your display name — never your contact details or balances.

5. Retention

Account and ledger records are kept for as long as your account exists and afterwards for the period financial and anti-fraud regulations require. Documents submitted for KYC are kept only as long as verification and the law demand. You can request deletion of your account at any time; data we must keep by law is retained but locked down.

6. Your rights and choices

You can access and update your profile data in the app, opt out of marketing at any time, request a copy of your data, and request correction or deletion by contacting support. Where local data-protection law (for example NDPR or POPIA) grants further rights, we honour them.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed, secrets are stored encrypted, money moves through an append-only double-entry ledger, and admin actions are audit-logged. No system is perfectly secure — tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect a problem with your account.

8. Children

The Service is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and accounts that fail the age gate are closed.
